Loading... Please wait...Low resistance atomizers will work in all 510 class devices although it is recommended to use them only with devices that have a large battery capacity more than 380mAh (such as the ego) LR atomizers produce more vapour and heat than standard atomizers.
The job of a LR atomizer is they simulate the performance of vaping at 5 volts on a 3.7 volt battery like the eGo is and has standard single cell lithium rechargeable battery, LR atomizers will work on egos but not with a standard 510 battery as they don't have enough power to work the LR atty well.
Low Resistance = more current draw, so you will also use up more juice using a LR atty than a regular atty.
Current draw = the load you're putting on the batteries.
Regular 510 atomizer == 2.2 ohms
LR 510 atomizer == 1.5 -1.8 ohms
If your 3.7v battery is charged up and putting out 4v.
The standard 510 atomizer is going to want to draw about 1.8 Amps
510 LR atomizer is going to want to draw about 2.5 Amps
The 510 LR atomizers draw almost half again as much current draw as a regular atomizer. For this reason it will stress your batteries, measurably reduce their lifespan, and possibly trip the protection circuit. For this reason eVape suggest they are not suitable for use with smaller capacity batteries such as a standard 510. This doesn't mean that they won't work with smaller batteries such as standard 510's but it would definitely be "use entirely at your own risk and we advise against it".
